When I was 14 years old, just about to enter highschool, I took a family road trip to Colorado where my Uncle handed me a camera and said “have fun”! I didn’t know it then, but that moment is where my love of nature and photography began. I started spending all my free time crawling around my back yard taking photos of the grass and the birds; begging my parents to take me on another road trip and to buy me my own camera. Fast-forward eight years; I am now in my final year at Savannah College of Art and Design studying Fine Art Photography, I have purchased my own professional camera, and am starting my own photography business.
Starting with that family trip to Colorado, I have fallen in love with traveling, nature, people, and most importantly, capturing that fleeting moment. While finishing up my last year of school, I plan to grow my small business into something that can be self-sustaining. I want to combine my love of nature and my love of people by doing wedding, engagement, senior, and family shoots outside or in an exotic location! I can’t think of anything better than capturing someone’s love for one another while the sun sets on the horizon, or capturing the ‘I do’ with love in the air and family surrounding.
While that is my true passion, I still consider my photography style very versatile. I have dabbled in architecture, fashion, and journalist photography and enjoy doing anything behind the camera. My passion shows in my work and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
